What's been happening

What a week. My 80gb hard drive (where I only have an operating system & program files) got bogged down to only having 7% available. So for a while I was deleting. Then last night I bought a 500 gb hard drive & Jeff installed it this morning (internally). So now today I have spent all day migrating & backing up and I have gotten nothing done. I am still working on Kaitlyn's book. I thought I would have had it done by now but it was way too slow to do anything.

Here is are pictures of Hope's jean jacket I made for her. Now I still have to make Kylie's - I am going to needle punch it!



I used a store bought jean jacket, lopped off the arms, faced the arm holes w/bias binding and used one of the arms to make a little purse. The flowers are from Smartneedle.com. I used a lime green rayon from Madera for the decorative stitches from my machine. I stitched around the flower design with metallic Sulky Hollosheer. The collar and was made by placing a bunch of threads and yarns on a pieces of heavy Solvy, then I placed a light weight Sovly on the top and sewed it all down , FME with Hollowsheer. Then I washed out the solving, cut it up & bling bling!
