Project finished - pix to follow

Hi, I just finished a DOUBLE sided t-shirt quilt and have another double sided one to do. I quilted in the sashing and not on the shirts, but now I am thinking I should have done the shirts too. I told the owner to pick it up today and then I will consult with her. It will only take one evening to get it quilted. If she doesn't pick it up, then I will quilt it tonight.

Tonight is our guild meeting but it is also suppose to be severe weather so I will probably just stay at home and sew.

I have a couple more ideas for lines for The Jacaranda Tree that I want to get mapped out. Plus I am still working on the web site. I have a vision of how I want it to look, but I have to take some time to create the art work.

Thursday night is Ron White. Can't wait to give him another chance. I love him on TV but when I saw him last year I was disappointed.

I bought some new kids shirts to embroider on. Also trying to figure out what to put on them. Maybe something Easter.

My granddaughter Hope (3) told me yesterday that she was wrapped in the quilt I made her (see 2006 slide show below, it is hot pink with inlaid hearts) and that her brother Bradley was wrapped in his (see 2007 slide show below, Alien quilt). She then said "I love you Nana!" Isn't that what it is all about?

My kids and grandkids are my guinea pigs, I make stuff for them while learning new techniques. Tip - don't machine embroider on cheap towels!

OK, I will take photos of the quilt when I get to work & post them later on. Peace Karrel
